Memorial for Dr. Alison De Forge
Dr. Alison De Forge, who was tragically killed in the recent Buffalo plane crash, was a tireless advocate of human rights in Africa. She stayed behind during the 1994 Rwandan genocide to help civilians cope with the violence. To honor her inspiring work, the UMass Save Darfur Campaign has invited Amherst College professors who were close friends and colleagues to say a few words about her.
