Irish Step Dancing Class
Irish dance classes are held every Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Newman Center Cafe near the ping pong tables. Classes are only $5 and are taught by experienced instructors. All skill levels are welcome. Beginners are encouraged to join. There is a beginner's group as well as a more advanced group for experienced dancers.
Irish Dancing is a new RSO at UMass Amherst. Since we are still a relatively small group, we are always looking to expand and recruit new members.
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes you can dance in. Bring soft and hard Irish dance shoes if you have them. No prior experience is necessary.
Classes are open to any Five College student, faculty, or staff member.
