Vagina Monologues Teach-In
The spotlight piece of the Vagina Monologues this year is a speech from an eight-year-old rape victim from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. After learning a little bit about the horrifying events in the DRC, where mass rape is used to control resources, the Vagina Monologues cast wanted to learn more. We're putting together an informal presentation for them, which will take place right after their rehearsal on Sunday.
Come together in this intimate setting to get any and all questions about the past and current state of the DRC and surrounding areas answered by local activists.
