Dinner on Us: Dinnertime Workshop for Parents of Infants and Young Children
Dinner on Us is a weekly speaker series on topics related to parenting, geared towards families with young children (up to 5 years old). All who are interested are welcome to attend. Simply call (413) 545-4466 and clearly state your name(s) to pre-register.
This week's speakers are Annette Cycon, MSW, and Melanie DeSilva, MA, from MotherWoman, Inc.
MotherWoman, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering mothers to create positive personal and social change for themselves, their families, their communities and the world.
MotherWoman creates treasured, mother-centered, safe spaces of mutual respect and acceptance where each mother can speak honestly about the truth of her mothering experience- the light and the dark. The individual and collective wisdom this creates has a long-lasting positive impact on future generations.
MotherWoman meets otherwise unmet needs in our community, offering unique and powerful programs that challenge the dominant attitudes and systems that devalue and oppress mothers and families emotionally, socially, and economically, creating barriers to success and empowerment.
Please come with your questions and join us!
