Exhibit: The Game-The Metaphor
Herter Gallery at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is pleased to present a sabbatical exhibition by associate professor Nancy Frommer LaPointe. "The Game: The Metaphor" is comprised of 32 large sculptural "chess pieces" arranged on a 'board" within the confines of the gallery space. For the artist, "The Game" has come to signify a situation in which "...opposing forces can co-exist..."
Gallery hours are Mon. through Fri., 11-4, and Sun. 1-4. The gallery is closed on Saturdays.
The exhibition is free and open to the public.
