Red Cross Shelter Management
This basic level, instructor-led workshop is designed to share information with UMass Amherst Medical Reserve Corps volunteers that will result in excellent client service at Red Cross disaster shelters.
This workshop will provide pre-incident training and orientation materials. Also, this workshop will provide shelter identification and operational materials to facilities prior to opening as a "Red Cross partner" or "Red Cross supported" disaster relief shelters during actual time of operation.
Please bring photo identification (such as a driver's license) so that a CORI form can be completed prior to the training. This is a requirement of the Red Cross training.
