Mass Marimba Bands and UMass Marimba Ensembles in Concert
Marimba ensembles will perform transcriptions of orchestral music, ragtime music, and more contemporary compositions. Marimba bands will use expanded instrumentation and perform Latin styles, Afro-Cuban music, jazz, and other pop styles. Thomas Hannum is the director.
