Boston Alumni Association Event - Could I, Should I, Start My Own Business?
Thinking about, or ever thought about, starting your own business? If so, you won't want to miss Doreen Blades '81, owner of FunLovingPets.com; Stacey Shipman '95, '98 MEd, founder of Let it Flow; and Joan Vasconcellos '83, principal of What's Possible Professional Coaching, Consulting and Training; as these alumni share their entrepreneurial experiences and discuss how to build a business during the current economic climate. Attendees will learn how to develop business contacts and manage stress during the building process, and will have the opportunity to ask questions and network with other UMass Amherst alumni afterward.
