Election 2008: Lessons Learned and To Be Learned
The UMass Department of Political Science inaugurates its new lecture series, called "Politics in America," with Professor Kenneth Goldstein of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He will be presenting "Election 2008: Lessons Learned and To Be Learned."
Professor Goldstein is the director of the Wisconsin Advertising Project, which tracks political television advertising in American elections, and is the author of Interest Groups, Lobbying and Participation in America. He is an active commentator on public affairs, appearing numerous times on Newshour with Jim Lehrer, Nightline, ABC World News Tonight, NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, CNBC and CNN, and is a frequent contributor on National Public Radio.
