Employment Information Management Workshop
This is Session III of the Human Resources Certificate Series.
Human Resources cover a wide range of employment, personnel, benefits and compensation services. This course provides a fundamental understanding of campus employment from the recruitment and selection of new faculty and staff to managing specific HR status transactions. University policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements that govern employment will also be reviewed.
Session III covers:
• How to effectively use the tools available to monitor/manage the employment/benefit status of an employee
• How to apply knowledge/processes reviewed in Sessions I and II through case studies
• The bi-weekly payroll process, including the use of deadlines
• General paycheck information
