No Butts About It Day
Glove up, grab a trash bag and join University Health Services' Student Health Advisory Board for "No Butts About It Day."
Members of the campus community will be picking up cigarette butts and related litter, to raise awareness of smoking's impact on health and the environment. Volunteers are needed for cleanup and collection stations.
Collected butts will become part of a display planned in conjunction with the American Cancer Society’s Great American Smokeout on November 20. Last year, 11 ½ pounds of butts were picked up in a two-hour span.
