Donald Shepard, Ph.D., of the Heller School at Brandeis University, will present "Economic cost of domestic hunger: methods and findings."
Donald Shepard is a professor at the Heller School at Brandeis University and is the head of the Cost and Value Group in the Schneider Institutes for Health Policy. His major teaching and research concentrations are cost and cost-effectiveness analysis in health and health financing — both in the US and internationally. He is the project director or principal investigator on numerous projects for National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the World Health Organization (WHO), foundations, and other state, federal, and international agencies. He has served consistently since 2001 on NIH study sections that review grant proposals for scientific merit and his biography is included in annual editions of Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World.
