Candlelight Vigil
Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority and Everywoman's Center are hosting an annual event held in honor of survivors of relationship violence.
We have a guest speaker, Yoko Kato, who will share her personal experience with relationship violence and talk about how she is working to spread awareness of it. The Not Ready for Bedtime Players are also going to perform a short skit on how to talk to a friend in an abusive relationship. We will also give survivors a chance to share their story and experience in a safe environment. Lastly, we will close the event with a candle lighting held outside on the Student Union Steps to show awareness.
