Phishing & Identity Theft: Don't Be Another Victim
Using Web sites or emails, identity thieves attempt to "phish" your valuable personal information (e.g., social security number, passwords, etc.) by pretending to be a trustworthy organization. This workshop will show you some of the common tactics thieves use to get your valuable personal information and what they do with it once they have it. We will also cover ways to determine the validity of a Web site or email.
