Workshop: The Law School Application Process
Don't go it alone! If you're applying for Fall 2009 admission to law school, this is the workshop for you. Topics include:
- LSDAS and its role in the application process
- Deadlines and timing of your application
- Choosing which schools to apply to
- How to obtain letters of recommendation
- Sending your transcript to LSDAS
- Obtaining a "Dean's Letter"
- Writing your personal statement
- Any other questions you might have about the process
- How the UMass Pre-Law Advising Office can help
This workshop is geared toward seniors and alumni currently in the midst of applying to law school, and space is limited. If you are planning to apply in a future year, please do not attend this session, as space is limited; there will be many more workshops offered in the spring.
