Open Call Collaborative Work Social
OPEN CALL FOR COLLABORATIVE WORK SHOW
This show is open to artists in any media or format who create work through a collaborative process. This includes visual art, sound art, movement, performance art, music, literature, dance, theater . . .
The gallery will hold performance evenings for the presentation of performances.
The gallery staff will make every effort to show all works, but should space become an issue, the gallery director and staff will make selections from the submitted works.
Wednesday, September 10, 7pm: COLLABORATION SOCIAL- Want to collaborate but don't have a partner? Come to the SUAG Collaboration Social! We'll have snacks. Bring ideas, samples, or just yourself. Already have a partner? Come anyway!
Tuesday, October 14: Drop off deadline for visual art/physical objects. It is essential that your work arrive by this date, before 5pm. If you need to drop off your work earlier, please contact the gallery staff to make arrangements. Work must arrive ready to be installed. If your work will require special installation, aural, or spatial considerations, please contact the gallery director to discuss options. Please contact the gallery with any questions regarding gallery regulations.
Tuesday, October 14: Deadline to sign up for performances- but PLEASE CONTACT THE GALLERY AS SOON AS YOU DECIDE TO PERFORM. This will help us plan for the performance nights.
SHOW DATES: Friday, October 17 - Friday, October 31
Performance events (tentatively, will depend on entries- if you would like to perform and can not make these times, notify the gallery staff as soon as possible): Tuesday October 21, 7pm and Monday, October 27, 7pm.
Closing Reception: Thursday, October 30, 5-7 pm.
Pick up work for visual art/physical objects: Friday, October 31.

Directions & Parking
The Student Union Building is in the central area of the UMass campus. The Art Gallery is on the first floor of the Student Union, located on the South Side the Building, across from Earth Foods and the Cape Cod Lounge. Parking is available in the adjacent Campus Center Parking Garage.
