Victoria Groves '00, '02G, will discuss approaches and tactics of salary negotiation, what other benefits are negotiable, ways to prepare for the "salary discussion" at an interview, and how to communicate your needs while taking into consideration the needs of the employer.
Victoria graduated from UMass Amherst in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and received her Masters' degree in public policy and public administration in 2002. She is a Boston-based writer, editor and writing instructor, and has been published in a variety of local and national publications, including The Improper Bostonian, Yoga, and Scouting. She currently writes a regular real estate column for the Needham Times and is a weekly contributor to www.getsugar.com.
