GardenShare Summer Kick Off Work Day and Party
The UMass student run garden is fully functioning this summer and it is a wonderful place to be, so we're hosting an event to celebrate the new season and working outside. Students, community members, professors, faculty, young and old, everyone is welcome! Please bring something for the potluck as our asparagus and lemon balm that are growing rapidly will not feed everyone quite yet. We can cook over the fire, so marshmallows, burgers, etc are great.
We'll be preparing an edible forest garden, planting strawberries, weeding beds, and having fun.

Directions & Parking
The garden is located on Tilson Farm Rd. beyond the fire station. Go through the center of Amherst, stay straight through the lights on E. Pleasant St., up the hill and on the right above Sylvan Dorms is the road.
