One of the best movies of all time with Gregory Peck (and Robert Duvall's screen debut). See it for the first time or see it again. Based on the story by Harper Lee, the film's main character is Atticus Finch, a lawyer in the Depression-era South, who defends a black man against an undeserved rape charge of a white woman, while he also tries to shield his kids against prejudice.
