Technology Innovation Challenge
Come watch five student teams pitch their business ideas in a competition to win funding for their emerging ventures. The event features a grand prize of $45,000 and a People's Choice Award of $7,500. Other prizes, totaling an additional $30,000, will be made at the discretion of the judges.
The Technology Innovation Challenge is supported by the College of Engineering, the Isenberg School of Management, and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. This competition is open to undergraduates, graduate students, and recent alumni of UMass Amherst.
The two platinum sponsors of the TIC are the law firm of Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks and Saint-Gobain High-Performance Materials.
