HerbFest 2008
HerbFest is an annual celebration of medicinal and aromatic plants presented by students in the UMass Plant, Soil & Insect Sciences course "Herbs, Spices, & Medicinal Plants." Each student created a display featuring a way in which plants can be used. Visitors to HerbFest can sample foods and beverages made with herbs and spices, smell aromatherapy formulas, see fabrics dyed with plant extracts, learn how to make herbal remidies, and perhaps even receive a henna tattoo. All are welcome, and bring a friend or two!
