Film: Mechina: A Preparation
In the summer of 2004, Maital embarked on an adventure to reveal how there is nothing simple about being an Israel teen in a mandatory military service. Come join Matial, her cousin Amital, and his five friends as they make their plans for their futures, explore youth, and balance feelings of fear, peace, and morality in a time of war.
This film will be followed by a discussion with filmmaker Maital Gutman.
