Clif Bar SoccerFest 2008
The UMass Department of Sport Management proudly presents Clif Bar SoccerFest.
Clif Bar SoccerFest is a 6v6 tournament format for adults and 4v4 for kids 11 and under, and teams can sign up in male, female, or co-ed divisions. Division winners can earn great prizes! Games start at 8:00 a.m., and championship games will conclude by 3:30 p.m.
The Clif Kid Fun Zone returns this year, bigger and better than ever, with attractions for attendees of all ages. There will be live music on site for everyone to enjoy, and concessions are available. There will also be inflatables, carnival games, a rock wall, and a dunk tank. The Clif Kid Skills Challenge is back as well, a fun way for kids to earn prizes.
The UMass men's and women's soccer teams will be playing a doubleheader against professional teams that day as part of SoccerFest. The UMass men's team kicks off the doubleheader at 1:00 p.m. They are celebrating their 75th anniversary and are coming off an historic Final Four run. The UMass women's game will take place at 3:00 p.m. and will include special Mother's Day-themed promotions and prizes. All the action will take place at Rudd Field. These games are both free of admission, so come cheer on the Minutemen.
