Jeff Bookshop's 2nd Annual Benefit for UMass Amherst Library
The Jeffery Amherst Bookshop & College Store (55 S. Pleasant Street, Amherst, MA) will donate 10% of Thanksgiving weekend (Fri - Sun, 11/26-28) proceeds to the UMass Amherst Library. Phone, fax, and online orders count toward the fundraiser too. Shoppers will also be able to participate in a drawing for store gift certificates.
Professor Stephen Gehlbach of the UMass Amherst Public Health faculty will read from and sign his recent book American Plagues: Lessons from Our Battles with Disease on Sunday, November 28, at 1:00 p.m.
