Founders Day 2008
Stay Dry! Most events will now take place in the Fine Arts Center Concert Hall.
Celebration of the 145th anniversary of the founding of UMass Amherst for students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends, with music, dance, lunch, ceremonial birthday cake and the Marching Band.
This commemoration of the founding of UMass Amherst begins with music and dance by variety of on-campus and off-campus groups in Fine Arts Center Concert Hall, followed by lunch under tents on Haigis Mall with informal entertainers, ceremonial birthday cake and the UMass Amherst Minuteman Marching Band. Lunch will be available for purchase; swipes accepted. All are welcome.
