TOMS Shoenanigans College Tour
TOMS shoe company is visiting the University of Massachusetts as a part of their Shoenanigans College Tour. For every pair of shoes sold, a pair is given to a child in need.
The event will feature music from the local band Skullfunked and from Tim Schurrer of Nashville. Earthfoods has donated their dessert of the day to the event. Come check out other cool organizations and learn about corporate social responsibility.
The UMass Outing Club will be taking sign-ups for a Barefoot Walk on April 16, which will cost a $5.00 donation to join. This walk will raise awareness about poverty in third world countries.
