Featuring songs of Schubert, including Einsamkeit, on the poetry of Mayrhofer, and Schumann's great masterpiece on the poetry of Heine, Dichterliebe.
Craig Smith, founder and long-time artistic director of Boston's Emmanuel Music, was a pivotal figure in the musical development of Hite and Gordon. The recital includes repertoire that they performed under Craig's guidance.
