9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The UMass Pride Alliance will have a table set up with FREE HIV testing (courtesy of Tapestry Health), educational resources, AIDS Awareness Ribbons, a message wall of remembrance and lollipops containing HIV/AIDS facts will be given out. In conjunction with World AIDS Day we are also recognizing National Day Without Art, which mourns and remembers the many members of the art community whose lives have been taken by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Worlds AIDS Day is a day to consider lost lives, fight for those who are currently infected, educate others, and raise resources for a cure.
CAPE COD LOUNGE EVENTS
7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Speaker Roger Goodman
Roger Goodman, oral historian, storyteller, and survivor of the Stonewall Riots will discuss the HIV/AIDS epidemic and its impact on women.
