Hate Crimes and Hate Incidents: An Educational Forum
With the incidents that have happened on campus, students, faculty and staff have expressed an interest in finding out the difference between hate crimes and hate incidents.
A group of professionals from the Massachusetts Attorney General's office, the Hampshire District Attorney's office, the UMass Amherst police department and an expert in free speech will educate the community about the differences between the two issues.
