Winter Soldier, 1971: When Vietnam Vets Spoke Out Against the War
The Western Mass Campus Antiwar Network and the Iraq Veterans Against the War are co-sponsoring this screening of Winter Soldier, 1971. This documentary covers the event that aimed to expose the "written and unwritten" war crimes that the U.S. government systematically committed in Vietnam.
This event will also include a panel of speakers from the Campus Antiwar Network, Iraq Veterans Against the War, and other sponsoring organizations.
This March, the Iraq Veterans Against the War are holding their own Winter Soldier: Iraq and Afghanistan in Washington DC. It will likely will be the largest gathering of anti-war veterans and services members of recent years to date. This event will help spread the word about the momentous occasion.
