Lecture: What Red Light, Officer?
Professor Douglas Creed of the University of Rhode Island will deliver this lecture as part of the Organizations, Institutions & Change seminar series. All are invited to attend.
Professor Creed’s research interests include institutional theories of organization, corporate community responsibility, and political and societal dynamics behind organizational innovation and change. Book chapters include "Seven Conversations About the Same Thing: Homophobia and Heterosexism in the Workplace" in Handbook of Workplace and Diversity (2005), and journal articles include "Voice Lessons: Tempered Radicals and the Use of Voice and Silence" in Journal of Management Studies (2003). He is Associate Professor of Management at the University of Rhode Island’s Department of Management. His MBA and Ph.D. in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior and Industrial Relations are from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. In 2007, he was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship for research in New Zealand.
