Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program
Students in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at the UMass Isenberg School of Management will be offering free income tax assistance to qualified taxpayers as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) at the Isenberg School of Management.
VITA begins Tuesday, February 12 and ends Thursday, April 10 (no services the week of March 17, which is spring break).
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, student volunteers will assist taxpayers with the preparation of their federal and state income tax returns for domestic and international tax returns.
Services are first-come, first-served.
The domestic group serves low-income tax-payers, those for whom English is a second language, and the physically and mentally challenged.
The international group serves international students and scholars from the Five College community.
