A photographic statement of murals from the facades of Orgosoli homes by Flore and RIichard Andersen.

Please join us at the opening reception on Tuesday Nov. 16th 4-6pm

Imagine a Mediterranean island forgotten by time. It is called Sardinia. Imagine a town hidden high in one of the island's isolated mountains. It is called Orgosollo. It has been occupied since 1300 B.C. There are not more than 1000 homes in Orgosollo, yet the facades of more than 500 are adorned with murals. They highlight the history of the town and its people. As well as the strong political and social views which are inhibited by the Italian government as well as a United States military base which is close by.
