Showing of the HBO Documentary "Thin"
The Women's Health Services Project will be facilitating a showing and discussion of the HBO documentary "Thin." This documentary follows four women during their stay at the Renfrew Center in Coconut Creek, Florida, a well-known inpatient eating disorder facility. It shows how each woman must overcome individual difficulties, make changes and sacrifices, and achieve personal accomplishments to reach their goal of recovery. After the movie there will be an open discussion with Director of Counseling Services for the Everywoman's Center and therapist Susan Mahler, along with Registered Dietitian Caren Weiner.
