Clean Power Forum
The UMass Amherst Chapter of Net Impact presents Clean Power Now, a grassroots organization on Cape Cod that supports the Cape Wind project. This organization will come to campus and give a presentation on offshore wind farms.
The forum will consist of the presentation from Clean Power Now, followed by an interactive panel discussion with 3-4 distinguished professors and business professionals, offering a variety of views and opinions regarding wind energy.
All members of Net Impact, the UMass and Five College student bodies and faculty, as well as the surrounding Hampshire, Hamden and Franklin county communities are encouraged to attend and participate in the interactive panel and Q&A session.
The event is free and open to the public.
