Music at Newman -- Schola Nova: An American Christmas
Schola Nova is one of a few choral groups devoted exclusively to the performance of sacred choral literature. Currently numbering about seventeen singers of varying backgrounds, the group has provided music for liturgy as well as concerts of sacred vocal music. The featured piece for "An American Christmas" is "Appalachian Nativity" by Lewis Henry Horton.
