The US Election's Impact on Israel
The Student Alliance for Israel (a registered student organization of the University of Massachusetts) will bring founder of UpstartActivist.com, Eric Esses, to speak Monday at UMass on the US election’s impact on America’s relationship with Israel. Esses will speak the day before America’s citizens cast ballots across the country to decide who will be the next president of the United States. America’s involvement in Middle Eastern affairs has never been more of a crucial issue than at this moment, and Esses will examine President George W. Bush’s and Senator John Kerry’s policies on Israel. The non-partisan discussion is an important topic for exploration because of the way this election could affect Israel’s millions of Christians, Jews, Muslims and others.
