Teach For America is building the movement to eliminate educational inequity by

calling upon our country's most promising future leaders to commit two years to

teach in urban and rural public schools and become lifelong advocates for

change.

We seek the most outstanding graduating college seniors and recent college

graduates - from all majors such as business, medicine, politics, law,

education, and social policy - to assume tremendous leadership roles and ensure

that their students gain the academic skills needed to succeed in life.

Seeking all majors. No previous education experience or coursework necessary.

Full first-year teacher salary and benefits, financial aid, plus a $9,450

AmeriCorps education award (if eligible). Student loan forbearance and interest

payments for two years.

Application deadlines for the 2005 corps are October 24, 2004 and February 18,

2005.
