'In Conversation': Sculptor Carolyn Webb With Art Critic Gloria Russell
In conjunction with her exhibition, 'Carolyn Webb: Dialogue with a Collection,' Webb will talk with art critic Gloria Russell at the University Gallery about the juxtaposition of Webb’s selections from the Gallery’s permanent collection, such as Anish Kapoor, Ad Reinhard, and Joseph Cornell, and Webb’s own works. The exhibition is the first in a series of exhibitions to take place at the University Gallery in which artists are invited to integrate their own works with pieces they select from the Gallery's works-on-paper collection, which includes over 2600 contemporary prints, drawings, and photographs.
