Winona LaDuke

Winona LaDuke is coming to UMass Amherst to speak on global warming and environmental social justice.

Winona LaDuke is an Ojibwe environmental activist and founding member of the White Earth Land Recovery Project. She serves as the program director of the Honor the Earth Fund. She works to advocate, raise public support, and create funding for native environmental groups. LaDuke is the author of Last Standing Woman (Voyager Press) and All Our Relations: Native Struggles For Land And Life (Southend Press).
