Wind Ensemble and Symphony Band
The UMass Amherst Wind Ensemble and Symphony Band performance titled "Different Windows" will include a world premiere by faculty member Emanuel Rubin. This performance will be conducted by Laura Rexroth. Other repertoire will include Andreas Makris: Aegean Festival Overture; Percy Grainger: Colonial Song; Henry Fillmore: The Klaxon; Paul Hindemith: March from Symphonic Metamorphosis; and Yasuhide Ito: Gloriosa.
