Holyoke Bound

Holyoke Bound is a valuable orientation for all college students considering working, interning, or volunteering in Holyoke.

This orientation will include information on the history of Holyoke, the political economy of the Pioneer Valley, and the Latino experience in the Northeast; presentations by community organizers on the city's assets; a student panel about working in Holyoke; a tour of the city; and information about possible volunteer and internship opportunities.

Transportation will be provided from:
UMass Amherst (Haigis Mall) - 11:10 a.m.
Amherst College (Main Bus Stop) - 10:20 a.m.
Hampshire (Main Bus Stop) - 10:30 a.m.
Mount Holyoke (Bus Stop on 116, by the library) - 10:45 a.m.
Smith & Holyoke Community College - ask for details

This orientation is open to all, and is free of cost.
