UMass Amherst's own faculty wind quintet, Avanti, performs in concert. Performers include Christopher Krueger on flute, Fredric T. Cohen on oboe and English horn, Michael Sussman on clarinet, Laura Klock on horn, and Stephen Walt on bassoon. Pieces include Darius Milhaud: La Cheminée du Roi René, Carl Nielsen: Quintet, Op. 43 & Irving Fine: Partita.
