MR2: Mark Edmundson
MR2 will be talking with Professor Mark Edmundson of the University of Virginia's English Department to discuss his new book, Why Read?
He is the author of Teacher, an account of his intellectual awakening in Medford High School in the 1960s, and Nightmare on Main Street, a study of the gothic impulse in American cultural life. Professor Edmundson will give a reading from his new book later the same evening at Amherst Bookshop (8:00 pm).
