Whet your appetite for flamenco with Flamenco, a landmark film by Spanish filmmaker Carlos Saura. This film is a tribute to the beauty and diversity of Spain's national dance and features outstanding performances by Joaquin Cortez, Manolo Sanlucar, Paco De Lucia and more than 300 performers. This is a veritable feast of exciting flamenco dances, songs and guitar playing. The film will be shown for free on Sunday, September 30 at 5:00 p.m. in Herter Hall.
Before you experience the passion that is flamenco, indulge your taste buds with a Spanish-inspired dinner prior to the show at the University Club. Choose from Sweet & Savory Marinated Pork Tenderloin with Onion Marmalade & Yellow Saffron Rice or the vegetarian option of Sweet & Savory Risotto Cakes with Onion Marmalade & Wilted Greens.
