Blue Prints
Please join us for a "closing" reception on Friday October 8th from 4-7 pm at the Student Union Gallery.
Blue Prints :: The biological body and its
relationship beyond has long been a source of
exploration for artists and intellectuals.
Blue Prints
is a creative and thought provoking exhibition
examining the relationship between
biological/geological forms and how they influence
human perception and expression.
The Artists:
Ben Caras :: Caras explores the junction where organic
form meets industrial design with his creation of
mysterious and whimsical beings out of wood and metal.
Matt MacDonald :: MacDonald investigates the
intersection between the built environment, the human
psyche, and the non-human world through color
photography, graphic design and architectural
drawings.
Cody Wallace :: Wallace installs a primitive
camp/shelter with handmade indigenous crafts
including baskets, bows, and stone tools, reflecting
the origins of how humans interacted with their
surroundings.
