Ying String Quartet - Beethoven Quartet Cycle
Timothy Ying, violin Phillip Ying, viola Janet Ying, violin David Ying, cello These youthful and unpretentious proponents of chamber music are the Quartet in Residence at the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester. The Ying siblings began their career as an ensemble in 1992, and immediately went on to win the 1993 Naumburg Chamber Music Award. The Quartet begins our final season of performances of the complete cycle of the Beethoven String Quartets.
