Salute to UMass Athletics and Silent Auction
The University of Massachusetts Amherst Alumni Association is proud to host this year’s Salute to UMass Athletics and Silent Auction, featuring UMass Amherst coaches. Honored guests at the event will include Head Football Coach Don Brown and Head Men’s Basketball Coach Steve Lappas.
The Silent Auction, being held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, features something for everyone with over 80 items! Participants can bid on one of 11 great get-aways at a variety of hotels. The treasure chest features items such as a year's supply of ice cream, an assortment of wines and tickets to popular shows like Cosby Comes Home and the Blue Man Group. Sports fans can bid on memorabilia such as a Babe Ruth Curse of the Bambino Photo Display, a 1980 USA Miracle on Ice Hockey Team Autographed Jersey and tickets to the Patriots, Celtics and Red Sox.
