Meditations with the Goddess

What do a psychotic rapper, a bible thumpin’ stripper and a Shiite Muslim soccer mom have in common? Meditations with the Goddess is a modern trilogy that traverses the rocky and often treacherous terrain of the human psyche.

In this epic work, three goddesses emerge from the underworld to aid Rha Goddess in an autobiographical search for universal and personal truth. Lowquesha, Medina, and Devina represent a new holy trinity. Within each story, each goddess is charged with the task of posing a question and clearing the path for an authentic exploration.

The issue of well-being and the reality of mental health are front and center in this epic work that seeks universal and personal truths. This high-powered artistic collaboration blends the many talents of acclaimed choreographer Rennie Harris, hip-hop composer/performer Baba Israel, sound design by Darin Ross and multi-media technology by Shade Interactive of Amsterdam.
