June 24: Grace Paley and Mark Doty Reading
One of the most acclaimed short story writers of our time, Grace Paley’s collections include The Little Disturbances of Man, Enormous Changes at the Last Minute, and The Collected Poems. Mark Doty is the author of seven books of poems, including School of the Arts, and three volumes of nonfiction prose. June 25: Noy Holland & Lisa Olstein Reading Noy Holland is the author of two collections of stories: The Spectacle of the Body and What Begins with Bird. Lisa Olstein’s poetry collection, Radio Crackling, Radio Gone, won the Hayden Carruth Award. This reading is part of the Juniper Summer Writing Institute's reading series at UMass. June 26: Paul Lisicky & Thomas Sayers Ellis Reading
Paul Lisicky is the author of the novel Lawnboy and the memoir Famous Builder. Thomas Sayers Ellis’s poetry collections and chapbooks include The Maverick Room, The Good Junk, and Song On. Leni Zumas’s fiction has appeared in Open City, Quarterly West, and other magazines. Arisa White’s poems have appeared in A Gathering of Tribes, Meridians, and elsewhere.
